Nick Andrews
Nick Andrews is co-founder and Director of EightyTwenty Insight Ltd. Formerly, Managing Director - Europe at EquaTerra Inc. and founding partner of ALS Consulting. Nick has over 20 years experience in outsourcing, as a provider and advisor. Specialising in BPO sales and procurement, contract negotiation and strategy, Nick has led, or been a key team member in, many of the land-mark BPO deals in Europe. He has worked for organisations and clients including Ernst & Young, Accenture, KPMG, Electronic Data Systems, Hewlett Packard, BP, New Holland, BAT, British Telecom, NHS, Diageo, Clariant, Unilever and DuPont.

What does Nick bring to EightyTwenty Insight?
With his strong professional experience and a history of successful projects and business ventures, Nick is recognized within the industry as a thought leader and as such is a frequent author and speaker. Nick has strong working knowledge of HR, F&A, procurement, IT transition and governance; and can transform businesses into more profitable ventures.

Nick has a Joint Honours Chemistry Biochemistry from Nottingham University. He has a keen interest in rugby, golf and tennis and practices Karate.

Eric Bohl
Eric is Director of Local Government Consulting. With over 20 years experience within local government (10 years of those at board level), he has a unique breadth of corporate and frontline management experience in four highly rated unitary councils. Eric has pioneered fundamental changes in service delivery models and has been responsible for award-winning multi-agency services, including the internationally acclaimed ‘Idea Stores’.  He has been sponsor for national programmes, such as the Customer Relationship Management programme for local government. 


What does Eric bring to EightyTwenty Insight?
With his analytical approach, Eric is able to help clients to create clear, well-structured change strategies . His strengths lie in strategic commissioning, partnership development and transformational change.  He has helped local authorities across the country to develop effective commissioning and sourcing strategies and has guided them through the implementation process for outsourcing and for shared services.  Eric is the author of “Make, Buy or Share?”, the SOLACE Guide to Sourcing.

Jim Scopes

Jim Scopes is co-founder and Director of EightyTwenty Insight Ltd. Formerly, Director of Strategy at HM Revenue and Customs and a partner with PA Consulting, Jim has 20 years experience within the public sector and management consultancy. Specialising in sourcing, strategy and business design and implementation, Jim has worked at the most senior levels in government on strategy development and policy implementation. As well as HM Revenue and Customs, Jim has worked for organisations such as DWP and its agencies (including, for example the Pensions Regulator), Environment Agency, Surrey County Council, MOD and Inland Revenue.

What does Jim bring to EightyTwenty Insight?
Jim’s strengths lie in strategic thinking and strategy development, in particular, sourcing strategies; business architecture and design; change management; and programme and project management. Key to his successful delivery of results has been Jim’s ability to influence and work with others – often across organisational boundaries and at a range of levels (up to and including Board level). Throughout his career, Jim has established and led highly productive, delivery-focused and creative teams to act as agents for change within organisations, often in a mixed economy environment (in-house staff, consultants and contractors).

Jim is a PRINCE 2 ISEB certificated project manager and a member of the Institute of Business Consulting and Harvard Business Reviews advisory councils.
